Decentralized private internet · dePIN protocol
Elevate Your Online Privacy
Vanta VPN is a protocol for private internet: independent cities, pay-per-gigabyte settlement, and session keys that stay on your device. Not a monthly VPN. Not one company’s warehouse.

Our mission
A protocol for private internet — not a warehouse with a logo
Most people only need a private connection some of the time — a café, an airport, a trip abroad, a show that is blocked in their country. A monthly VPN sells you a year of unused data. A dePIN protocol sells you capacity on a live city, when you actually need it.
Vanta VPN is the protocol and the product. Independent operators run the cities. You see the price up front, pay for the data you use, and keep the session keys on your device. We never ask you to trust a black box or a monthly plan you will not use.
When to start
When you actually need a private connection
You are on public Wi-Fi
Airports, hotels, and cafés can see a lot of unencrypted traffic. A Vanta VPN location puts a lock on that path.
A site treats you differently
Some apps and pages change based on where you appear to be. Pick a city and browse as if you were there.
You want less tracking
Your internet provider and nearby networks see less of what you do. That is the whole point of a private connection.
How it works
Four steps from sign-in to a private connection
01
Sign in
Use email, Apple, Google, or a wallet you already have. Nothing extra to install just to get started.
02
Pick a city
Choose a live city from independent operators. Every location shows a clear price before you pay.
03
Pay for data
Buy gigabytes, not months. Pay in ETH or USDG on Robinhood Chain. Your setup file unlocks after the payment lands.
04
Connect
Download a setup file or scan a code into WireGuard or V2Ray on your phone or computer. You are private in minutes.
The protocol
A decentralized private-internet protocol, not a monthly subscription
Vanta VPN is the public face of a dePIN — decentralized physical infrastructure. Independent operators run the cities. You buy gigabytes. Cryptography on your device opens the path. Settlement happens on-chain. The brand you see is Vanta. The network underneath is many machines, not one warehouse.
01
Device
Your phone or computer creates the session keys. WireGuard or V2Ray carries the packets. The private key never leaves that device.
02
Session
You pick a city and a number of gigabytes. The protocol quotes a clear price, takes payment, then completes a handshake with that location only.
03
Locations
Independent operators run real machines in real cities. Vanta does not own the racks. If one city fills up or goes offline, you choose another.
04
Settlement
You pay in ETH or USDG on Robinhood Chain. That payment is a receipt. It is not the tunnel. Your browsing never rides the payment network.
dePIN, not a rented VPN
Decentralized physical infrastructure means the bandwidth comes from machines operators actually run. You are buying capacity on a live network of cities, not a logo on someone else’s cloud account.
No single choke point
A monthly VPN is one company, one policy, one outage. Here each location is an independent door. The protocol is the marketplace that lets you walk through the one you paid for.
Cryptography you can name
WireGuard uses Noise_IK, Curve25519, ChaCha20-Poly1305, and BLAKE2s. Session secrets are created on-device. Vanta sees the city, the gigabytes, and that payment landed — not your private key, and not a copy of your tunnel.
Open settlement
Prices are shown as location plus a Vanta fee. Settlement is a public chain payment, not an opaque card charge that renews while you sleep. No special “VPN coin” is required to get online.

Session handshake
Quote, settle, issue, tunnel
- 01
Quote
City, gigabytes, location price, Vanta fee. Nothing is reserved until you confirm.
- 02
Settle
ETH or USDG on Robinhood Chain. The chain is a receipt, not a packet path.
- 03
Issue
The protocol completes a handshake with that location only. You receive a setup file or scan code.
- 04
Tunnel
Your device speaks WireGuard or V2Ray straight to the city. Vanta is no longer in the data path.
Threat model
What Vanta can and cannot see
City you chose, gigabytes purchased, that payment landed
Not: Your WireGuard private key
That a session was opened for a location you paid for
Not: The websites and apps inside the tunnel
Public settlement on Robinhood Chain
Not: A copy of your encrypted packets
Why us
Built so you only ever see Vanta VPN
A protocol, not a rented VPN
Locations are independently operated. Vanta is the marketplace and the handshake — not a sticker on one company’s cloud.
Honest pricing
Every location shows what you pay per gigabyte before you connect. No surprise caps halfway through a trip.
Your keys, your device
WireGuard secrets are created on your phone or computer. We do not keep a copy. The tunnel is yours.
Real cities, live directory
Choose from live locations around the world. If a city is full or offline, you pick another. That is how a dePIN behaves.
On-chain settlement
Pay ETH or USDG on Robinhood Chain. The payment is a receipt. Your browsing does not travel on that chain.

Devices
Use the apps you already trust
Browsers cannot turn themselves into a full VPN. Vanta VPN prepares your setup, then you import it into WireGuard or V2Ray on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows, or Linux. Native Vanta apps for desktop and mobile are next.
Robinhood
Built to take payment on Robinhood Chain
Settlement is a separate plane from the tunnel. Robinhood Chain is where you pay in ETH or USDG. The encrypted path still runs device to city. The chain never carries your packets. Docs cover both the checkout and the cryptography.

Frequently asked questions
Straight answers
What is Vanta VPN?
Vanta VPN is a decentralized private-internet protocol. You pick a live city run by an independent operator, pay for gigabytes, and your device builds an encrypted tunnel to that location. Websites see the city you chose — not your café Wi-Fi or home network.
What does dePIN mean here?
dePIN stands for decentralized physical infrastructure. The bandwidth is not a single company’s rented cloud. Independent operators run machines in real cities. Vanta is the protocol and the app that lets you discover those cities, pay for capacity, and connect. If one location goes away, another is still on the map.
Is this just another monthly VPN with a new logo?
No. A monthly VPN is one company, one bill, one policy. Vanta charges by the gigabyte, settles payment on-chain, and treats locations as a marketplace. You are not pre-paying a year of unused data.
Who runs the cities?
Independent operators. Vanta does not pretend to own every rack. Each location is a real door your traffic can walk through. You choose by city, protocol, and price. Nothing is locked in until you pay.
What if one city goes down?
Pick another. That is the point of a dePIN directory. A monthly VPN is one warehouse. Here failure is local: Zurich filling up does not take Singapore with it.
Does my browsing travel on the payment chain?
No. Robinhood Chain is settlement only — a receipt that you paid in ETH or USDG. The encrypted tunnel is device to city. Mixing those planes is how people confuse a checkout with a VPN.
Where are the keys?
On your device. WireGuard session secrets are created in the browser. Vanta never stores that private key. We see the city, the amount of data, and that payment landed — enough to open the location and show a receipt.
What cryptography does the tunnel use?
WireGuard uses the Noise protocol, Curve25519, ChaCha20-Poly1305, and BLAKE2s. V2Ray is available when a network is stricter. The data plane is device to location. Robinhood Chain is only for paying.
Do I need a special coin?
No. You pay with ETH or USDG on Robinhood Chain. There is no requirement to buy a “VPN token” just to get online privately.
Do I need to be technical?
No. Sign in, pick a city, pay, then import a file or scan a code into WireGuard or V2Ray. The Docs page covers both the simple path and the protocol underneath.
Can I pay with Robinhood?
Yes. Robinhood Chain is the settlement rail. Your browsing does not travel through Robinhood. You pay Vanta there, then connect through the location you picked.
Move forward privately
Do not let a monthly plan decide when you get to be private. Open Vanta VPN, pick a city, and connect.
